Let the Redeemed of the Lord Say So!

Go grab your Bible and check out Psalm 107:2. Have you ever thought about this verse?  It's actually a command. If we've been redeemed by the Lord we are to say so. Why is that so hard for us? Maybe you deal with insecurity. Maybe you feel like your testimony isn't "dynamic". Or maybe you're not sure how your testimony could ever be used by the Lord. I've wrestled with all of those personally in my walk. But the truth is, God's Word says that "the testimony of the saints is powerful." You don't have to be a meth-addicted prostitute rescued off the streets to have a powerful testimony. Just like you don't have to be a 6 year old little boy saved in your Sunday School class. They are all powerful, because they are our stories! No one can ever take away what God has done in your life, or what He is doing.

The beauty of it all, is that as long as we are alive, our story is still being written. God is still at work, and His ways are higher than our ways. So be encouraged my friends, God is blessed by what you have to say. What He has done in you, is what leads others to Him.

So make a stand today, that you're no longer going to listen to the enemy's lies. But you are going to stand up, and shout out that you are redeemed. More importantly though, live it. Because it's not just what we say with our mouths, it's said best with our lives!

New Style to the Site

Whats up family! I hope all of you are doing well and I hope you are all meeting God wherever you are in life...you can be at the lowest of lows and the highest of highs in your life but God is there no matter what for real! He loves you and wants to continue to love you all the days of your life! So out of this love God has shown us this site has worked its way into the new works and new design. We officially have the domain names of 1loveministries.com and 1loveministries.org so any of those will work to get to this site. I hope you like it! Also I encourage of you to stay in tune in the future and everyday and check out the daily bible verse or just to listen to some chill music. Its good to stay connected with other people throughout the week and I encourage you to talk and comment on any blogs. We are working on videos here soon to launch out and we are having more people on our team to blog soon including some girls out there so be in tune for that also! Whats up fam?
Check this out... so the other day i was just sitting and thinking about all the expectations that were on my life, and where OTHERS wanted to see me and wanted me to do with my life. I kept thinking... and it dawned on me that most of my life up to this point... has been formed by what others wanted for me.... not based on my own decisions and God's plan for my life! What a smack in the mouth that was! God says to draw near to him and he will draw near to you... so what was i doing drawing near to the opinions of those around me? WHY NOT BE ME! Then i made the choice to be done with expectations.... don't live for the expectations live for God's will and be open and HAVE FUN WITH LIFE PEOPLE! dont be a stick in poop! BE WEIRD! BE DIFFERENT! BE BOLD AND COURAGEOUS FOR CHRIST! Following God has alot more benefits than living by the norm that EVERYONE ELSE IN THE WORLD DOES! We as christians need to burn the box that used to hold us in and not care about what people are going to say or do and BE WHO WE WERE CREATED TO BE! deep thought for just laying around huh? just think about it! Dare to be DIFFERENT! Can you do it? Or are you to scared? YOU DO YOU!

Devoted to a life of Courage

What is up everybody? I hope all of you are doing well! I believe you are reading this for a reason and I hope it speaks to you as it is speaking to me right now. Ya so I was driving down the road one day and I just looked at a billboard and it was the US Marines billboard that says "Devoted to a Life of Courage". Most of you know what I am talking about. Anyways, I was like thats cool I have seen that before but as I kept on driving, it slowly started sinking in. Aren't we called to a life of courage? Am I supposed to stand up for what I belive in and live with the courage and never back down? Am I living courageously or cowardly? So many questions popped up in my head...I encourage you to take a minute and just ask yourself am I living courageously? Its crazy how many times one can go back in to their lives and be like I havent been courageous as I could have been! I kept searching into my life so I wanted to know the actual definition I of  courage and it says:

Courage permits one to face extreme dangers and difficulties without fear!

I read that and I asked myself am I facing extreme dangers and difficulties without fear and just trusting God? My life does not reflect courage, but after all this and after God was speaking I want to be devoted to a life of courage to stand up for what I belive in and be the man God wants me to be! Stand up and rise up! Be courageous!

I will end with this, Deuteronomy 31:6 says, "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."

God is always with you no matter what and no matter what circumstances you are facing. The fact of the matter is at the end of the day do you trust God enough to live courageously for him! I know I have been challenged in this but remember to always ask yourself that question Am I living courageously or more towards a coward? Its pretty cool to challenge yourself in this! So be bold, rise up, stand up and live with courage! Let God do the work and just trust him!

Inspiration...

Whats up!!

I wanna thank everyone for the prayers and encouragement these past weeks and months. Been a rough time for me and my family, but God is good and he will see to the completion of his work as he says in Phil. 1:6. God is soo amazing and powerful and mysterious in the way that he works, that it would be a shaft to him and a mockery not to worship him. We have to come to the place where its real to us and where he matters more than that which is around us and consumes our dull everyday lives here on Earth. I force myself to constantly be reminded and inspired by God words... I starts a wall for verses so everyday i wake up and i am reminded of all i have read and learned about God through the years... and as i continue to grow and read and he speaks.... more verses get added. I would encourage all you to starts a journal, a poster, a bulletin board, or even a wall!!! Just something to write down verses or saying or phrases that stick out to you and remind you of God and his love, mercy, and all of who he is! Like it was once told to me it's easy to remember all the bad but what about all the good? dont loose site.... UNLEASH the mind and find out how big our GOD is. I DARE YOU to open the box and let God out from under your microscope and outta the box you have him in let him out. He is bigger than its even humanly possible to imagine! SSSTRETCH your minds! let the fullness of who he is be relevant... dont strap God down let him be the BIG HUMONGOUS GOD HE IS! Let go of unmet expectations, they dont work, let it go!! LIVE LOVE LAUGH!!! Live Free!! Live to the Full! and allow the cup of water you know as God.... spill into the ocean that is all of him!!! Be washed by the Water of the Holy ONE!!! What is up everyone! I hope everybody had safe and good holiday breaks! School and work are now back in session which stinks but gotta do what you gotta do haha. We have wristbands that we have ordered this year (colors: white, pink, purple, blue, and green (all glow in the dark)).
